MOLE KINGSNAKES

Lampropeltis caligaster rhombomaculata

A smaller sub species of the Prairie Kingsnake with adults reaching a maximum of 2-3ft but mainly around 2ft in length.

There are two sub species comprising of the mole kingsnake and the Southern Mole kingsnake from Florida - Occipitolineata - this is however extremely rare in captivity and I know of none in Europe.

Pattern varies depending on the location and also there tends to be varying amounts of red within the pattern.

We have several localities of Mole kingsnakes that comprise our collection, these are from:

Hoke, Beaufort, Sampson, Prince George and Pender County, the Pender county tend to have quite a lot of red in the pattern making this the most sought after of the Mole kings.

In the future I hope to add some Florida panhandle moles to the collection and if they ever become available the Southern Moles kings would be nice!
